Pay it forward during our 2nd annual give back to kids event!
The season of giving back is here!
And we are so excited to announce that we’re launching our second annual Give Back to Kids Event now through the end of December. If you remember last year, we were able to donate $50,000 to 5 local charities thanks to customers like YOU! Help us do the same this year.
For every new and used vehicle purchased, we’re donating $25 to on of these five charities. But the best part is, you get to pick which one! Yes, the display is back and so are the ping pong balls. Pick the charity that strikes a chord with you and drop the ping pong ball in the corresponding cylinder.
It’s been said before, but there really is no better time to buy a car. Help us donate up to $50,000 to the kiddos in our community.
What if I don’t need a new car? Can I still contribute?
Great question. As the weather gets colder, odds are your vehicle may need some service done. For every completed service, you will have the opportunity to round up to the nearest dollar–or whatever amount you feel compelled to give.
And now the burning question… Which charity will you choose? While some may be very familiar to you, we were excited to add some new non-profits this year!
The Link – work with youth and families to overcome the impacts of poverty and social injustice. The Link’s Board of Directors has a variety of expertise and skill sets that provide critical guidance and governance for the organization. The board members include people from the fields of social work, academia, the legal field, real estate and housing, public relations and marketing, local government, finance and past program participants who have lived experience of homelessness, involvement in the juvenile justice system and/or sexual exploitation.
Free Bikes 4 Kidz – is a non-profit organization geared toward helping all kids ride into a happier, healthier childhood by providing bikes to those most in need. The public donates gently used bikes, we organize thousands of volunteers to clean and refurbish them, and then we give them away to kids in need.
Girls on The Run – inspires girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident by using a fun, experience based curriculum that creatively integrates running. Girls on the run envisions a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams.
The Sheridan Story – fights child hunger through community and school partnerships. After witnessing the shocking number of kids in our schools who were hoarding food in the cafeteria, the school administration at Sheridan Elementary in Northeast Minneapolis decided to do something about it. The Sheridan Story distributes more than 23,000 meals to kids in our community each week through weekend food programs food backpacks for kids in our local schools.
